Dermot Hoare

Dermot Hoare joined Advocate Financial Services as a partner in 2012 and has over 30 years experience in the industry.

Dermot is highly qualified in the area of Life and Pensions and his experience includes sales and senior management positions with a number of Financial Institutions.

A Qualified Financial Advisor through the LIA he began his career with Royal Liver. He subsequently joined Bank of Ireland Lifetime and was promoted to Senior Counsellor.

Dermot moved to join AIB’s Ark Life as a Consultant and was promoted to Regional Sales Manager in 2001. On leaving AIB he spent two years in brokerage followed by a period as Senior Manager, Wealth Management in IIB Bank. He subsequently became a board member and Sales Director of Independent Trustee Company.
 

He leverages his extensive industry experience to provide his clients with solutions that are bespoke to their individual needs.
